About This Project
The system that Solera designed and installed at Toronto Electric is an example of the Solera Roof Lease model. Here Solera is renting the roof space and owns the system. Solera designed, engineered, installed and long-term financed the project, and we provide the ongoing maintenance of the system. The benefit to the building owner is having the perfect tenant on their roof: quiet, profitable and present for 20 years. A value-added feature is that the landlord can claim the system on the roof as an example of their sustainable business practices. It’s another Solera win-win.
