About This Project
The second rooftop installation we performed for Purdue Pharmaceuticals was considerably more challenging than the first as it was a multiple aspect installation. In addition to the black solar wall that we created (BIPV) we were tasked with a very irregular roof with many levels and a great deal of obstructions in the form of HVAC systems, etc. Our system designers, in concert with our engineers went to work and satisfied the client’s request for a maximum sized system by developing a multi tiered racking system, stacking modules in multiple rows atop the roof.
