About This Project
The Township of New Tecumseth envisioned solar on their arena but they knew that the roof may not support the additional load. So they retained Solera to design and install the 300 kW system, as pictured above. Solera designers and structural engineers met the challenge of implementing solar only on the safe roof areas with certified loading capability. Structural integrity to carry the additional load imposed by a solar array is a common challenge that Solera knows how to overcome with astute, professional analysis. Experience counts.
